1、 Overall working principle

The gantry crane is mainly composed of a large vehicle operating mechanism, a gantry (including main beam, support legs, and lower crossbeam, etc.), a trolley (lifting trolley), and an electrical control part. By driving various mechanisms with electric motors, the overall movement of the crane and the lifting and movement of goods are achieved.

2、 Specific working principle

Large vehicle operating mechanism:

The electric motor drives the reducer, which in turn drives the wheels to roll on the track, thereby achieving the forward and backward movement of the gantry crane on the track. This step enables the crane to move horizontally to the position where it needs to be operated.

Crane trolley:

The crane trolley is installed on the main beam track of the gantry, responsible for the vertical lifting and horizontal movement of the goods.

When it is necessary to lift goods, the lifting mechanism of the crane trolley (usually an electric hoist) starts working. The electric motor drives the drum to rotate through the reducer, and the steel wire rope on the drum wraps around it, driving the hook to rise and lift the goods.

After the goods are lifted, the operating mechanism of the lifting trolley begins to work, causing the trolley to move horizontally on the main beam track and move the goods to the designated position.

Electrical control part:

Activate the lifting mechanism again and lower the cargo.
