Daily maintenance content of bridge crane

As a bridge crane manufacturer in Shandong, I will introduce the daily maintenance of bridge cranes to you today.

1. Appearance of bridge crane: Clean the appearance to ensure no dust accumulation or yellowing. Check for cracks or weld failures.

2. Large and small vehicles: Inspect and tighten the transmission shaft seat, gearbox, coupling, shaft, and key to ensure they are not loose; inspect and adjust the brake wheel clearance to make it uniform, sensitive, and reliable.

3. When inspecting the reducer of an overhead crane, the main focus is on whether there is oil leakage. If there is an abnormal noise inside the box during operation, it is necessary to open the box cover for inspection. This is usually caused by damaged bearings, excessive backlash in gear meshing, severe wear on the tooth surface, or other reasons.

4. Lifting winch: Check the steel wire rope, hook, and pulley for reliability, and replace them if the wear exceeds the specified value; check and adjust the brake to ensure it is sensitive and reliable.

5. Inspection of steel wire ropes for bridge cranes. Common types include phosphated coating steel wire ropes, galvanized steel wire ropes, and smooth steel wire ropes. When inspecting steel wire ropes, focus should be placed on observing broken wires, wear, kinks, rust, and other conditions. For certain positions with severe wear and broken wires but not exceeding the standard, marks should be made for follow-up re-inspection. It is important to check whether the limiter in the drum of the steel wire rope is effective, whether the steel wire rope pressing plate on the drum is tight, and whether the number of pressing plates is appropriate.

6. Lubrication: Check the quality and quantity of oil in all parts, and add or replace lubricating oil as required.

7. Inspection of the pulleys of the bridge crane. Check if the wear at the groove bottom exceeds the standard and if there are cracks in the cast iron pulleys. For the balance pulley of the luffing mechanism pulley block, it is often overlooked as it does not operate under normal conditions.

Therefore, before installation, it is essential to check the flexibility of its rotation. Otherwise, during installation, the length and tension of the steel wire ropes for pitching left and right cannot be automatically adjusted through the balance wheel, which increases the difficulty and danger of adjusting the pitching ropes at height.

8. Electrical: Check whether each limit switch is sensitive and reliable; check whether each electrical device in the electrical box operates sensitively and reliably; check whether the motor, electric bell, and wires are reliable; check whether the signal lights are in good condition.

9. Check whether the couplings of the bridge crane are loose or even have "rolling keys". Focus on checking whether the elastic rubber rings of the elastic pin couplings are abnormally worn. For the gear couplings, pay special attention to the wear condition of the gear rings. Due to poor installation accuracy, in the case of a large offset between the two shafts, the entire gear ring will quickly become bald within a short period of time. If this situation occurs in the lifting mechanism, serious accidents are prone to occur.
